13-Day Break
- Day 1 – Overnight flight from Heathrow to Kolkata (Calcutta) via Dubai.
- Day 2 – Morning arrival in Kolkata where you will be met and transferred to the 5-star Taj Bengal Hotel for a two-night stay. Afternoon tour of Kolkata. D
- Day 3 – Visit Bhowanipore Cemetery and Kolkata Botanical Gardens. Afternoon at leisure. B,D
- Day 4 – Morning flight to Dimapur in north eastern India. You will be met and transferred to the 3-star Hotel Japfu in Kohima for a three-night stay. B,D
- Day 5 – Personal visits to Kohima War Cemetery and Garrison Hill. Afternoon tour of Kohima Village and Ladies Mile. B,L,D
- Day 6 – Service of Remembrance at Kohima War Cemetery. Tour of battlefield area including Kuki Piquet and Jail Hill. B,L,D
- Day 7 – Scenic drive from Kohima to Imphal with picnic lunch en route. Visit General Slim’s Bungalow. Check in to the 3-star Classic Hotel Imphal where we stay for three nights.(Please note: Due to local road conditions itinerary may be subject to change.) B,L,D
- Day 8 – Service of Remembrance and personal visits at Imphal War Cemetery. Wreath laying at Imphal Indian Cemetery. Afternoon shopping excursion to Ladies Market B,L,D
- Day 9 – Meet with local WWII veterans (if possible). Watch a traditional polo match. Enjoy afternoon tea with the Governor (if possible) of Manipur at his official residence. B,L,D
- Day 10 – Early afternoon flight from Imphal to Delhi where you will be transferred to the 5-star Taj Palace Hotel. B,D
- Day 11 – Full-day sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi. B,D
- Day 12 – Day at leisure or optional excursion (with lunch) to Agra and the Taj Mahal. B,D
- Day 13 – Morning flight from Delhi via Dubai to Heathrow.
